Who works with laboratory animals?

Animal handlers, laboratory technicians, researchers, principal investigators, veterinarians, and animal welfare supervisors all work with laboratory animals.

Together they assure that all aspects of the project maintain good quality, including:

caring for laboratory animals in an appropriate way
complying with ethics permits and laws
assuring that research is reliable and will be beneficial.
