Cats
The cat brain has been thoroughly researched. Hence, cats have been used to study the interaction of different parts of the brain, and the connections between brain and body functions.
Much of the animal research on cats has focused on developing vaccines or drugs for cats. Generally, researchers use the European Shorthair cat.
